Hushh ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Hushh mobile application (the "App").

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and preferences.
• Assessment Data: Your responses to the initial wellness assessment (tinnitus severity, vertigo frequency, etc.) to personalize your experience.
• Journal Entries: Daily journal entries you create within the App are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our secure servers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Data

• Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as feature usage, session duration, and app performance metrics.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and support purposes.
• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the App experience
• To generate your wellness programs and recommendations
• To create PDF reports at your request (shared only with people you choose)
• To improve the App through anonymous analytics
• To send important service-related notifications
• To process subscription payments (handled entirely by Apple)

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share limited data with:

• Firebase (Google): Anonymous analytics and crash reporting data.
• Apple: Subscription and payment processing (handled by Apple; we do not have access to your payment details).
• OpenAI: When you use the Ask Hushh AI feature, your questions are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Firebase services with industry-standard encryption. Journal entries and personal data can be stored locally on your device. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data (via PDF reports)
• Withdraw consent for your data at any time via App Settings
• Opt out of analytics via App settings

These rights apply under GDPR (EU), KVKK (Turkey), CCPA (California), and other applicable privacy regulations.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Hushh is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
